Joe brings valuable perspective to the particular challenges of retail and restaurant transactions. Earlier in his career, he was an owner and operator of several restaurants, as well as one of the largest national retail eyewear chains in the U.S. Accordingly, Joe understands the core businesses, space requirements and long-range goals of such tenants, and is in a unique position to negotiate real estate transactions that meet the unique needs of this industry, while satisfying the financial, tenant-mix, and other requirements of property owners. Joe was the master broker representing Sears Holdings Corp. (SHC) during the national rollout of their Home Appliance Showrooms and today represents Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc., which was spun off from SHC in 2012, with the continued rollout of the large format Sears Outlet Stores. Joe represents retailers and restaurants throughout the Chicago metropolitan market, regionally and nationally.
