national commercial real estate firm. Here, he successfully represented buyers and sellers in multi-million
dollar transactions. Al is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the
National Association of Realtors, and the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors. He holds
an Illinois Real Estate Broker’s License. Al also is a past board member of Holy Apostles Church in
Westchester, Illinois; a fundraiser for The Alzheimer’s Association, The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

Born and raised in Chicago, Barry Millman received BA in Public Administration from University of Wisconsin and Masters in Health Care Administration & Law from Saint Louis University.
Mr. Millman entered the Hospital Administration practice and rose to COO of Chicago’s Saint Mary of Nazareth Health Center. His responsibilities included the development of a 473-bed hospital. In 1981, Barry and his wife opened a high-end retail Boutique in Glencoe, IL which eventually grew to 7,000 SF. The store was quite successful and during that time Barry became friendly with many local shopping center developers.
After selling the boutique in 1991, Barry joined Craig Steven Development as a North Shore leasing agent. He then joined Childs Realty Group in Arlington Heights as a Senior Broker for a large number of third party managed/leased properties. Barry is actively involved with the Harold E. Prior to being a partner at Fuksa Khorshid, LLC, Lema spent over six years consulting hospitality, fashion, and entertainment clients on their branding and public relations strategies and initiatives in Chicago. Her clients included several prominent fashion retail establishments, hotels, nightclubs, and restaurant groups such as: The W Hotels, The Park Hyatt Chicago, Le Meridien, The Sutton Place, The Whitehall, crobar, DKNY, French Connection, Guess, Kenneth Cole, Nicole Miller, Thomas Pink, and Bloomingdale’s, to name a few.
Lema sits on the Board of Directors for the University of Illinois Entrepreneurship Advisory Council, The Gateway for Cancer Research, and The Light Project. She has chaired several large scale fundraisers to support arts and cultural initiatives in underprivileged communities; brought awareness to Chicago’s fashion and arts scene; and, raised thousands of dollars to support educational initiatives for entrepreneurs. Since 2006, she founded and chaired the BizOver™, a large scale marketing and networking platform for entrepreneurs.
Lema received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in Finance and Marketing, with a concentration in International Business and Italian (2000). She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago (2004). Lema is proficient in Arabic, French, and Italian.
In her time away from the office, Lema loves international travel, is a self proclaimed foodie, and has a penchant for fashion and film.

Les Kristof is a Vice President in CBRE Chicago’s Suburban Retail Agency and Occupier Services Group. In this role, Les focuses on building relationships and executing transactions for national, regional and local clients.
Les came to CBRE after spending the last nine years at Edgemark Commercial Real Estate Services LLC, serving as a Vice President on the firm’s retail brokerage team. In this role Les focused on the sale and leasing of retail shopping centers, land sites and freestanding buildings throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Prior to his work at Edgemark, Les provided real estate services for anchor retailers, automotive retailers, food and drug retailers and junior anchor retailers at The Staubach Company.
Les earned an Economics degree and a Marketing degree from Northern Illinois University as well as an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Spero’s career in commercial real estate spans two decades with a heavy concentration in retail brokerage and property management. He started working for a developer after becoming a licensed broker in the State of Illinois where he learned the ins and outs of shopping center leasing and management. Although he enjoyed working with tenants to find the right location as well as negotiating mutually acceptable lease transactions, he also realized the importance of effective property management to the success of the firm.
He decided to join a national commercial brokerage company in the next phase of work in the late 90’s. The training and discipline offered there was something new and helpful with respect to sharpening his skills in the retail real estate world. There were opportunities to work in teams on larger projects to handle leasing assignments for new centers as well as older properties in need of capital investment.
Upon leaving this large organization, Spero joined a well respected boutique retail brokerage firm in downtown Chicago. Here he learned that a broker could work on a niche within retail brokerage and concentrated on becoming an expert in restaurant related transactions. Chicago is known for its variety and abundance of restaurants and has a scene that is closely watched by experts in the industry.
